6 Vine ripened Italian tomatoes, ¼ inch thick slices
24 slices of Buffalo Mozzarella cheese, ¼ inch thick slices
40- 50 Fresh Green Basil leaves
Extra virgin Olive oil, for drizzling
Freshly ground black pepper
Layer alternating slices of tomatoes and mozzarella; add a basil leaf between each, on a large, shallow platter. Drizzle the salad with extra virgin olive oil and season with salt and pepper to taste.
